Jackson Realty and Builders Company has been in business for fifty-seven years and your goal is to increase and build on your technological side of your job recruiting process to help increase the amount of reliable project managers.

  • Reaching out through university databases for potential future candidates as many students in project management will likely want a job after receiving their degree

  • Social Media is a new tool for finding the perfect candidate for the job at hand and the way to succeed is to be as specific as possible up front.

  • There are many useful tips to help improve the recruitment process

  • Providing a way to listen and communicate with desired audience through social media establishes trust in the company

  • Internships are valuable as they give the company an opportunity to evaluate a candidate before offering them a full-time position.

The research suggests that strengthening the social media presence and tools used to reach out to future job candidates, such as LinkedIn, Facebook, internship opportunities, and university databases, can provide access to potential employees with the skills that are desired by (not sure if I should say “Jackson Realty” or “the company” here)

  • Form your questions in a measurable format such as:

    • "I prefer a work environment which doesn't demand constant adaptation" (1 = strongly disagree, 5 = strongly agree)

  • Clearly state your companies values, beliefs, and expectations on the main page of your website and very briefly on your survey.

  • Comment on survey answers during the interview process to effectively communicate your expectations and the potential employers expectations.

These recommendations have shown that these will be the most effective ways to implement technology into your recruitment and hiring process for reliable candidates. These recommendations have shown to be the best results according to the research. After analyzing the data found through the research, it has shown that by using social media tools, enhancing the job description and trying to target young audience members through university databases will help with finding dependable reliable candidates for property management positions.
